All Adventures are 45 minutes and include the entire class in movement,
creative thinking, cooperative activities, and fact learning.
American Symbols-K, SSKH1. Some activities include “becoming” a bald eagle, acting out the
history of the Statue of Liberty, and honoring George Washington with his monument.
American Folktales—1st grade, SS1H2. “Calamity Kay” visits your classroom with stories and
acting activities to explore tall tales, Johnny Appleseed and Paul Bunyan.
Animals and Where They Live- K, SKL1, 1st grade, S1L1. Get active as we investigate habitats of
some animals through movement and story enactments.
Aesop’s Fables- 2nd grade, ELA2R4. Students act out fables. Discuss their meaning.
Boston Tea Party- 4th grade, SS4H4. Explore what led up to the event through guided improvisations
(including some significant people of the time.)
Dress up like “Indians” and recreate the Tea Party.
Circulatory System- 3rd- 7th grade , S7L2. Class acts out the system. Improvise scenes on healthy choices.
Civil War – 5th grade, SS5H1. Pretend to be a television news team visiting the past.
Significant people and events acted. out. ( Reconstruction also available.)
Colonial Life – 4th grade, SS4H3. Act out a day in the life of a colonial school child.
Conquistadors – 6th grade, SS6H1 Guided improvisations on Cortes and Montezuma and
the life of the Incas.
Creek and Cherokee Indians – 2nd grade, SS2H2. Learn about their culture through their stories.
Improvise aspects of their daily lives. 3 day In School Field Trip available.
Dinoshow -grade K – 3rd grade, ELARK2, ELAKLSV1. Students participate in a fact-filled fantasy
adventure about going back to find out one possible reason why dinosaurs became extinct.
Do Tell – grade K, ELAKR6, Create stories with a beginning, middle, and end. Act them out.
Economics -5th grade, SS5E1. Act out opportunity costs during WWII, create a marketplace, drive cattle to market, act out specialization.
Economics – 4th grade, SS4E1. Economics concepts illustrated.

A visitor from Fairyland tells stories then we make up a story.
Georgia Regions – 2nd grade SS2G1 – Use fabric and imagination to create a map of Georgia in the room.

Improvisations on the different branches and functions of government.

Insects are Everywhere -grades K-2 Students use props to “become insects” and act out stories
Harriet Tubman - 1st grade, SS1H1. Act out scenes from her life to discover her contributions to history.
Learn about Acting Workshop – any grade Improvisation, vocal projection, stage directions.
Liquids, Solids, and Gases 2nd grade S2P1,4th grade, S4E3Improvisations based on states of matter.
Act out a story about colloidal suspension.

Outer Space Fun -4th grade S4E1 Music, scarves, imagination and information will take students
into outer space. “Become” John Glenn and circle the Earth.
